Illinois High School Volleyball - New Trier nudged by Sandburg

The Sandburg Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host New Trier Trevians to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lockport for a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, October 3. Sandburg will meet a Porters team coming off a 2-0 league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Porters record now stands at 18-5.
The Trevians (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans enter the Central Suburban game with a 7-12 record. In their last game, Glenbrook North was nudged by Maine South (Park Ridge, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
