Michigan High School Volleyball - Portage Central can't hold off Niles

The Portage Central Mustangs volleyball team (Portage, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Niles Vikings (Niles, MI)

The Vikings (17-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI). The Chix come into the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Portage Central will attempt to move on its 5-20 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 20-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Petoskey (Petoskey, MI).
