The Piper Pirates topped the visiting Smithville Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Valley Southwest for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Piper will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 2-0 league win over Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS). The Timberwolves record now stands at 20-6.

The Warriors (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS). The Timberwolves enter the non-league test with a 20-6 record. In their last test, Blue Valley Southwest gained a win over Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS), 2-0, in a league test.
