The Providence Christian Eagles held off the visiting Straughn Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houston Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Providence Christian will confront a Raiders team coming off a 25-13 non-league win over Long (Skipperville, AL). The Raiders record now stands at 14-9.
The Tigers (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators enter the non-league test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Greenwood held off Logan County (Russellville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
