The Voorheesville Blackbirds volleyball team (Voorheesville, NY), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Shaker Bison (Latham, NY)

The Bison (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchmen enter the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Guilderland was dropped by Shaker (Latham, NY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Blackbirds meet the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians (Ravena, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Voorheesville will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.
