Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Sabers clash with the Stark Generals (Weare, NH) in a Division II match, on Monday, October 2. Souhegan will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Generals come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH).

With the loss, Winnisquam drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bears host Pelham (Pelham, NH) to clash with the Pythons in a Division II match on Monday, October 2. The Pythons come into the match with a record of 3-7. Pelham won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Manchester Central (Manchester, NH)
