The Westgate Tigers volleyball team (New Iberia, LA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA)

The Gators (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Hanson Memorial nudged Westgate (New Iberia, LA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Riverdale Rebels (Jefferson, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 30. Westgate will attempt to move on its 5-20 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Benton (Benton, LA).
