Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Conrad Weiser Scouts (Robesonia, PA), 2-0 in a league battle.

The Mustangs (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Muhls enter the Berks County 1 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Muhlenberg by Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Scouts confront the Daniel Boone Blazers (Birdsboro, PA) in a Berks County 1 battle, on Wednesday, October 2. Conrad Weiser will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Blazers enter the battle with a 3-11 record after their 7-0 league win over Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA).
