Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Hendrick Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Tappan Zee advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Dutchmen travel to Nanuet (Nanuet, NY) to clash with the Golden Knights in a Conference 2 League B test on Tuesday, October 1. The Golden Knights come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Sailors now have a 0-2 record.
