The Wallkill Panthers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Rhinebeck Hawks to 0 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now hold a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Spackenkill for a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) bout on Tuesday, October 1. Wallkill will play a Spartans squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Onteora (Boiceville, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Rhinebeck moves to 5-5 on the year. The Hawks host Rondout Valley (Accord, NY) to play the Ganders in a Mid Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) bout on Saturday, October 5. The Ganders go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Rondout Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY)
