Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA), 22-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Coatesville improves its record to 1-0 on the season.

The Red Devils now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Unionville for a battle on Saturday, October 5. Avon Grove will play a Longhorns team coming off a 54-20 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, PA). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-1.
