In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Cape Fear Colts volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Harnett Central Trojans.

The Colts (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Douglas Byrd was beaten by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Harnett Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
