The Firebirds now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3. Falls Lake will play a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Franklinton moves to 7-9 on the season. The Red rams travel to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Knights go into the test with a record of 15-0. Northern Nash won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)
