In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Brookfield Bobcats.

The Greyhounds (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Chargers go into the Naugatuck Valley outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Ansonia was edged by Platt RVT (Milford, CT), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot outing, on Tuesday, October 1. Brookfield will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT).
