Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Elk County Catholic Crusaders (St. Marys, PA), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Clarion-Limestone advances its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a UAVSL Boys Central test on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 8-3. Redbank Valley won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Eisenhower (Russell, PA)

The Crusaders now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host DuBois for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Elk County Catholic will clash with a Beavers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Brookville (Brookville, PA). The Beavers record now stands at 10-2.
