Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Oxford moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, CT) to clash with the Chargers in a Naugatuck Valley test on Wednesday, October 9. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Hawks now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Waterbury Career Academy for a Naugatuck Valley test on Friday, October 4.
