The Plattsburg Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting DeKalb Tigers to 5 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Buchanan for a Class 2 District 14 battle on Tuesday, October 1. Plattsburg will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-18.

With the loss, DeKalb moves to 5-7 on the season. The Tigers host Albany (Albany, MO) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 18-4. Albany won 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against Jefferson (Conception Junction, MO)
