In Monday's non-league match, the visiting King City Wildkats softball team scored a nice 13-5 win over the Maysville Wolverines.

The Wildkats (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Worth County (Grant City, MO). The Tigers come into the Class 1 District 15 match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Worth County notched a victory over Maryville (Maryville, MO), 9-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wolverines confront the Marceline Tigers (Marceline, MO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 1. Maysville will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 8-6 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Gallatin (Gallatin, MO).
