Park Hill Trojans (Kansas City, MO) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO), 14-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Park Hill upgrades its record to 15-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Central (St. Joseph, MO) to play the Indians in a Class 4 District 16 game on Tuesday, October 1. The Indians enter the game with a record of 8-9.
The Fighting Irish now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Savannah for a Class 3 District 16 game on Thursday, October 3.
