The Hornets (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Kittens enter the Division V District 4 contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Southern Lab was tipped by Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the battle the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a Division V District 5 contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Ascension Christian will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA).
