In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Magnolia Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ashdown Panthers.

The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 4A 6 challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Waldron was beaten by Mena (Mena, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR) in a 3A 6 challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Ashdown will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR).
