Maryland High School Volleyball - Our Lady of Good Counsel bounced by Bishop O'Connell

September 30, 2024: Olney, MD 20853

Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bishop O'Connell improves its record to 17-1 on the season. The Knights travel to St. John's (Washington, DC) to face the Cadets in a Washington Catholic test on Wednesday, October 2. The Cadets go into the test with a record of 16-2. St. John's won 3-0 in their recent league test against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)

The Falcons now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potomac School for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Our Lady of Good Counsel will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
