In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Community Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Calloway County Lakers.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against McCracken County (Paducah, KY). The Mustangs come into the District 2 challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, McCracken County lost by Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lakers play the Christian Fellowship Eagles (Benton, KY) in a District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Calloway County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
