Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) and the host Dryden Cardinals (Dryden, MI), observed Genesee Christian's volleyball team top Dryden by a tally of 3-0.

The Soldiers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit beat Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI) in a Michigan Summit contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Dryden will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Mayville (Mayville, MI).
