In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Orofino Maniacs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kendrick Tigers.

The Maniacs (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Priest River (Priest River, ID). The Spartans come into the 2A Central Idaho challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Priest River was beaten by Kellogg (Kellogg, ID), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Prairie Pirates (Cottonwood, ID) in a 1A White Pine challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Kendrick will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Lapwai (Lapwai, ID).
