In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Mendon Unity Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the West Prairie Cyclones.

The Mustangs (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Barry Western (Barry, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Barry Western was beaten by West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cyclones meet the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Thursday, October 3. West Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL).
