The Murray Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Trigg County Wildcats to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tigers now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Mayfield for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3. Murray will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Trigg County drops to 1-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY) to play the Comets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 1. The Comets come into the outing with a record of 8-11. Carlisle County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY)
