In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sandia Matadors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Valley Vikings.
The Matadors (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, La Cueva beat Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings play the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Elks/Elkettes come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM).
