College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 47-13 in a league battle.

With the win, College Park improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Falcons host Monte Vista (Danville, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 4-12. Monte Vista lost 28-12 in their recent league test against Foothill (Pleasanton, CA)

With the defeat, Miramonte drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Matadors host Acalanes (Lafayette, CA) to face the Dons in a Diablo challenge on Monday, October 6. The Dons go into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Acalanes lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)
