South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) boosters were content Tuesday as they observed their flag football squad thwart the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), 20-7 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. South Effingham will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.

The Atomsmashers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
