Ohio High School Soccer - Hiland knocks off Waynedale

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Hiland Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Waynedale Golden Bears.

The Hawks (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Norwayne (Creston, OH). The Bobcats come into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Norwayne nipped Smithville (Smithville, OH), 2-0, in a league test.

The Golden Bears now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smithville for a Wayne County test on Thursday, October 2. Waynedale will clash with a Smithies team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Norwayne (Creston, OH). The Smithies record now stands at 3-8.
