Maryland High School Soccer - The Academy of the Holy Cross knocks off Sandy Spring Friends

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans soccer team scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests.
With the triumph, The Academy of the Holy Cross moves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tartans host St. John's (Washington, DC) to clash with the Cadets in a Washington Catholic test on Thursday, October 9. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 6-2.
The Wildebeests now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burke for a PVAC test on Tuesday, October 7. Sandy Spring Friends will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 1-1 league Field (Washington, DC). The Bengals record now stands at 2-0.
