In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Gallup Bengals.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Bayfield was beaten by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bengals face the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. Gallup will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
