In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hope Christian Huskies volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Valencia Jaguars.
The Huskies (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record.
The Jaguars now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grants for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Valencia will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 10-2.
