In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), by a margin of 2-0.

The Tornadoes now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they host Faith Christian for a bout on Friday, October 3.

The Gryphons (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks enter the battle with a 0-3 record.
