Annapolis Panthers (Annapolis, MD) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast (Pasadena, MD). The Eagles go into the Class 3A East I outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Northeast was tipped by Crofton (Gambrills, MD), 2-1, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntingtown for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Southern will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-1.
