The Coal Ridge Titans smashed the visiting Vail Mountain Rangers soccer team by a margin of 7-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Titans now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Aspen for a 3A Western Slope challenge on Thursday, October 2. Coal Ridge will encounter a Skiers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Grand Valley (Parachute, CO). The Skiers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Vail Mountain moves to 0-9 on the year. The Rangers host Basalt (Basalt, CO) to encounter the Longhorns in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Longhorns go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Basalt won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO)
