Virginia High School Soccer - The Covenant School knocks off Fork Union Military Academy

The The Covenant School Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Fork Union Military Academy Blue Devils to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a Blue Ridge Athletic bout on Wednesday, October 1. The Covenant School will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-7.
The Blue Devils (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, North Cross nudged Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA), 4-3, in a league challenge.
