Hudson Ridge Thunder Chicken (Albany, NY) fans went home happy Tuesday as they saw their soccer squad knock off the visiting Gloversville Huskies/Dragons (Gloversville, NY), 3-1 in a non-league outing.

The Thunder Chicken (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mayfield (Mayfield, NY). The Panthers enter the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Mayfield edged Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY), 3-0, in a league test.

The Huskies/Dragons now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Queensbury for a Foothills Council- North test on Wednesday, October 1. Gloversville will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 11-0 league win over Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.
