In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Lackawanna Steelers soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Hamburg Bulldogs.

With the triumph, Lackawanna advances its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Steelers host Maryvale (Cheektowaga, NY) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Flyers come into the test with a record of 1-7.

The Bulldogs now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sweet Home for a ECIC I test on Friday, October 3. Hamburg will play a Panthers squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-7.
