The Mankato East Cougars smashed the host Owatonna Huskies soccer team by a tally of 5-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host New Prague for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. Mankato East will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Owatonna moves to 4-9 on the year. The Huskies travel to Northfield (Northfield, MN) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-1.
