Illinois High School Soccer - Riverton/Tri-City knocks off Mt. Pulaski

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Riverton/Tri-City Hawks soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 win over the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers.

The Hawks (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth (Warrensburg, IL). The Cardinals enter the Sangamo outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth was overwhelmed by Williamsville (Williamsville, IL), 4-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hilltoppers clash with the Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon Knights (Farmer City, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 2. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to move on its 0-13 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL).
