Indiana High School Soccer - Wood Memorial knocks off Washington Catholic

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Wood Memorial Trojans soccer team scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Washington Catholic Cardinals.
With the triumph, Wood Memorial advances its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Pike Central (Petersburg, IN) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 6-8. Pike Central lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN)
The Cardinals now have a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to South Knox for a non-league outing on Monday, October 6. Washington Catholic will play a Spartans squad coming off a 10-1 league win over North Knox (Bicknell, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 10-4.
