The Jackson Fighting Indians softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting St. Dominic Crusaders to 4 in the Fighting Indians non-league win on Tuesday.

The Fighting Indians now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 1. Jackson will meet a Lions squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Lafayette (Wildwood, MO). The Lions record now stands at 7-10.

The Crusaders (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Red Knights go into the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Incarnate Word Academy toppled Ursuline Academy (St. Louis, MO), 18-6, in a non-league challenge.
