Georgia High School Softball - St. Francis edges Milton

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA) and the host Milton Eagles (Milton, GA), observed St. Francis's softball team get by Milton by a tally of 9-7.

The Knights (10-8) will now prepare for their bout against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 21-1 record. In their last bout, Hebron Christian tipped Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA), 7-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a 5A Region 7 contest, on Thursday, October 2. Milton will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Gladiators enter the contest with a 10-16 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA).
