In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Academy at Palumbo Griffin volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush KNIGHTS.

The Griffin (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Masterman (Philadelphia, PA). The enter the PPL - Independence test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Masterman achieved victory over Abraham Lincoln (Philadelphia, PA), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The KNIGHTS now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast for a PPL - Independence challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-7.
