Minnesota High School Volleyball - Richfield overwhelmed by Academy of Holy Angels

The Academy of Holy Angels Stars topped the visiting Richfield Spartans volleyball squad by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Stars now possess a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Minneapolis Southwest for a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. Academy of Holy Angels will play a Lakers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Richfield drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Thursday, October 2. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 7-8. Simley lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN)
