The Southside Sharks prevailed the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Coming up next, the Sharks clash with the Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 2. Southside will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Westminster Christian Academy (Opelousas, LA).
The Saints (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA). The Vikings enter the Division V District 2 match with a 7-7 record. In their last match, Opelousas Catholic was outscored by Livonia (Livonia, LA), 3-2, in a non-league match.
