Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Barron over Ashland

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI) and the visiting Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI), observed Barron's volleyball team top Ashland by a count of 3-0.

The Golden Bears (22-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Lumberjacks go into the Heart O'North battle with a 11-15 record. In their last battle, Ladysmith was defeated by Cameron (Cameron, WI), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Oredockers now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spooner for a Heart O'North battle on Thursday, October 2. Ashland will encounter a Rails squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Rails record now stands at 5-15.
