Indiana High School Volleyball - McCutcheon over Avon

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host McCutcheon Mavericks volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Avon Orioles.

With the win, McCutcheon improves its record to 11-13 on the season. The Mavericks host Benton Central (Oxford, IN) to face the Bison in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Bison go into the test with a record of 15-5. Benton Central won 3-0 in their recent league test against Logansport (Logansport, IN)

The Orioles now own a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a Hoosier Crossroads test on Wednesday, October 1. Avon will face a Shamrocks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Shamrocks record now stands at 18-1.
